Great service very fast and great weight. I recommend you book in advance though as it is always a tight place.

We have been down from the Gold Coast on business a few times over the last 3 months and this little pub serves the best pub food which is why we pop in everytime we are in Melbourne 😊

We have been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years now and unfortunately tonight will be the last time. The demise of this little eatery is sad as it once was one of the most appealing places in Williamstown when on the hunt for a traditional Italian pizza. Tonight our food was simply dreadful. The Gamberi pizza was scattered with some over cooked, mushy, small prawns and some depressed looking rocket. The pasta was microwaved and lacked any passion or zest and the caprese salad was a dismal attempt at that with one basil leaf as a token effort to make it look half decent. The waiter was dumbfounded when we asked for some balsamic vinegar. Overall disappointed and not ever likely to return or recommend.

19th May 22. My partner and I dined with my two teenage daughters for birthday dinner celebrations. I worked at this restaurant 20 years ago so it was nice to go back and check it out. We were met by the new owner of only 4 years, and it was nice to see they&#39;ve kept a lot of the menu items the same. We were seated opposite an open fire in the front room. We started with a cheese and olive focaccia ($10.50), some drinks for the girls and a bottle of Red Claw Pinot Noir ($69). For mains we ordered the lamb ragu with tagliatelle ($27), garlic cream prawns with rice and side salad ($29), pesto genovese with tagliatelle ($23) and a 250g eye fillet steak on the rarer side of med-rare with red wine jus, chips and salad ($42). Our means were lovely. The pesto could have had a bit more salt, but after my daughter added some parmesan cheese, she enjoyed it. The ragu was tasty. The prawns and my steak were cooked to perfection and were absolutely delicious. Another lovely dining experience. We&#39;ll certainly be going back.

This place could be really good if the quality of the meat was better. While cooked as I asked (medium) the steak was quite chewy, not tender as I would have expected for a restaurant specialising in steak at top prices. Perhaps the menu should have the choice of Wagyu, though black angus can be tender if the beef is of good quality. The prawn entree was tasty and bread nice. The environment with bluestone, brick walls is inviting. Cocktails looked appealing. Service was attentive and fast, so I&#39;ll try this place again and hopefully, quality of the steak will improve. If not I wont return
